The correct answer was a chicken, and she said that China can be seen in the shape of a chicken, Beijing in the neck of a chicken, and Shanghai in the belly of a chicken.

As for Chinese food culture, she explained that they do not eat much cold food, that they cook vegetables and other foods over a fire, and that they like to eat meals with a lot of people in a lively atmosphere.

Finally, she explained about the erhu, a traditional Chinese musical instrument, and we listened to her play it and give a short performance, which the participants gave a loud applauded at the end.

She explained that Songdo has a bridge called “Skywalk” where you can walk on the sea, and that it is highly recommended to walk around while enjoying the beautiful view of the sea.

She explained about both traditional and modern hanbok. The modern hanbok is especially cute and easy to wear,” she explained, showing the hanbok she had brought.

She also talked the recent trend of cooking Tteokbokki, a famous Korean dish. It is a method of making Tteokbokki using rice paper instead of rice cakes. She said that by eating it this way, calories consumed are reduced a little. She also said that it would taste even better if cheese or sesame seeds were added when the rice paper was rolled.
