Teacher's Thoughts
The experience of wearing folk costumes and touching basket bags made in Ghana for the visually impaired was a good way to experience foreign cultures. After that, some students learned about the good things about Japan and the important role of the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers.
Children's Impression
By listening to the Frafra language and learning greetings, I could understand what kind of language they used in their lives.
In the connection quiz between Japan and Africa, there were many things I didn't know, and I felt close to Africa.

Teacher's Thoughts
Although they did not reach the self-awareness of being a member of the international community that was the aim, some students were motivated and interested. I also felt that it was possible to raise the awareness of the students more by devising pre- and post-guidance.
Student impressions
I learned a lot about foreign cultures and the good things about them. I also learned that the "norm" in Japan and other countries is different. I was also happy that they enjoyed our presentation of Japanese culture.
