We will hold classes on international understanding at no cost to the requester.

Target
Elementary schools, junior and senior high schools and special needs schools in Fukuoka prefecture
Content
Foreign teachers living in Japan and Japanese instructors who have experience working in foreign countries will introduce the life and culture of their home country or country of residence in a variety of ways.
Teacher
- Foreign nationals living in Fukuoka prefecture
- Japanese nationals with experience of activities abroad
Number of dispatched people
Up to 3 per school (depending on the number of students and the class content)

Cost
Free of charge (However, stationery purchase costs related to the project, transportation costs related to prior meetings, etc. are borne by the requester)
From application to the class
- Submit the request application form (Form No. 3) through the Board of Education (January ~ middle of March).
- When the class has been decided (early May), the school must submit the final implementation plan (Form No. 4) to the office at least one and a half month before the class is done.
- The office will contact from the office to confirm the details
- The office will determine the appropriate teacher from the registered teacher and contact the requesting school (send a letter introducing the teacher)
- Pre-meeting (directly conducted by the person in charge at the school and the teacher) (* Please check the class content (time schedule and necessary tools), transportation on the day, etc.)
- Submit the report (Form No. 5) to each of the Board of Education and office within two weeks after the class. (*For schools outside designated cities, submit to the Fukuoka Prefectural Board of Education via the local education office.)
